Roller shades operate with a roller mechanism at the top of the window. The fabric of your choosing rolls up onto a cassette in this area when you lift the shade. When the shade is lowered, it appears as a flat piece of fabric. You can choose any fabric you wish to attach to a roller shade backing.
Honeycomb shades are a variety of roller shades as they operate in the same manner. You have a variety of colors from which to choose in this highly efficient window shade. There is also a variety of sizes of cells or honeycombs in this type of shade.
